And a Celebration it Was
I couldn't believe the amount of people that came. I told Brian the minister, that I had no idea how to prepare for how many people would come but said it could be 100 or maybe even 200 people. Last count was 317 people and 220 chairs.

She's Home
At 1:45 this morning Alicia awoke and ran to her her moms bedside while telling me she is gone. I had reached over and moved her in the bed and she took one last breath and went home. I believe she woke Alicia at that very moment so we could be all be there when she left. Praise God.....

Her love has touched us all.....
The most amazing phenomena is happening in our family as Lorrie lays quietly in her bed. We are seeing a wave of love and changed feelings for one another that could only have happened through Lorrie's battle. Family members that we haven't seen in a long time have come in and circled the wagons with us and have been showing us such amazing love and support. Also people that have crossed paths with Lorrie over the years are coming out everywhere to tell stories of this wonderful friend and how she has touched their lives.

In her Heart...awaits an Angel
Hospice nurse and social worker called this morning and asked to come over to talk with us about Lorrie's status. We told them that the past two days have been difficult because she was acting very confused and at times combative. We think that because her liver isn't processing like it should, it isn't cleansing her blood.
